Everything Bapak received from God has been given to us in his talks and his book Susila Budhi Dharma. Remember that the content of this framework is the latihan of each one of us. Don’t imitate. If we don’t understand the direction and purpose of Subud we can be diverted from what is the true will of God. It is now up to us to carry forward and put into practice what Bapak received.
The latihan is an education. We need patience, and faith in the power of God within us. Human beings have needs in this world that can make us forget so we are led astray.
We have two responsibilities. Firstly, to build the soul of a true human being. Secondly, to fulfill the needs of our life here.
The influences of the world are very strong, but not an obstacle if they can be separated from the needs of the soul. No conflict in using therapies etc. to earn a living, if kept separate from the latihan. You may come to a point of choice though.
Finding right work. It is not easy to test the talent of a person.
Ibu’s experiences of doing this. Subud is not fortune telling. How you can recognize when you have found your true talent.
Responsibility of parents and their children with this. Helpers giving guidance in finding right direction, should be very careful. What you need, to give this kind of help.
We are trying to find a truly noble way of life.
