Testing with ladies. What ‘relax’ means. Whatever work you do, don’t deviate from God’s will. Whatever you ask for, you have to be prepared to carry it out. Listen to me – by this time you should be able to receive more than you do. It is important to grasp the reality of the latihan.
Testing with men. Bapak tests with you to make you more aware of the need for you to do the latihan. Your work. The guidance you receive in the latihan comes from your own nature. Gradually you will receive from your true inner nature, as the purification of your being takes place, and be truly satisfied. Inherited mistakes and defects. The life forces within us. Our heart and mind are like a car – the desires are the fuel. Desires are a disturbance/temptation for our inner being, and need to be organized.
Only God can lead us. The example of the Prophets and Messengers of God.
Why is it that people outside of Subud can do things well, and we seem to find difficulties? The protection needed when worshipping and when working. Why Bapak encourages enterprises.
Why the practice of fasting is important – to simplify and also experience freedom from the nafsu. If we put into practice what we receive in the latihan we are really using what we have received from God.
Don’t let Bapak’s advice fall by the wayside. You will only receive proof of God’s generosity if you make an effort.
Actions are needed. Nothing is easy in this world. By trying, even if you fail, you are preparing a place in which to receive God’s grace.
